Saw a grey fox in the back yard from our deck last evening, in town, here on Highland Street!

Have your baby robins hatched on your porch yet?

why yes they have, and it's pretty delightful watching them eat and grow

We recently saw an eagle fly by as we enjoyed the view out our sunroom that faces Mount Wantastequet, across the river in New Hampshire. We often enjoy as many as 8-10 black birds ( perhaps turkey vultures?) riding the air currents in circles and appearing through our eyes to be enjoying themselves. The eagle had a distinctly different white head but also was flying straight as an arrow north; apparently the eagle had no time for gliding and enjoying the air currents!

Yes, you are likely viewing turkey vultures, Ruth. They frequent the Putney Road area. A bald eagle sighting is always fun! That sun porch of yours is wonderful place to watch birds!

Oh my goodness, I'm soooo in love with this bear!!! I cherish the way the sun turns his beautiful fur a golden red. And what symbolism that you had these moments with this astonishing creature because you chose to sit quietly and be rewarded with wonder (adore these wise words of yours). Something our world needs more of (Covid had lessons for humanity on this front but we were too eager to get back to busyness to listen more carefully).

It is amazing what we can hear and see, feel and be, when we let ourselves quiet down. I'm going to really lean into this today and see what comes. Thank you always Ann.

The feeling is so mutual Ann. Your bear story was as wonderful as I'd hoped for!
